Description

The ACOA Lighthouse logo is made up of two parts, an “A” letterform that contains a lighthouse silhouette, in blue, and a half maple-leaf positioned to its right, in red.

An exemption to use the logo, in place of the flag symbol, was granted in 1988.

Trademark Details

While there is no apparent Canadian trademark record, the ACOA Lighthouse logo has the status of a mark of the Government of Canada.

Created by an act of Parliament in 1987, the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency promotes an economic environment that supports the growth of Atlantic Canadian businesses and communities.
