We live in a nuclear age. We hope Canada will never be attacked by nuclear weapons, but as long as the possibility exists we should be prepared to take sensible precautions that could save many lives.
It is impossible to predict the extent to which Canada would be affected by such an attack. In a major conflict, our cities could be at risk of deliberate attach; random explosions could occur, and there could be danger from widespread radioactive fallout in many parts of the country.
This is a survival guide for you and your family. It contains information about what to do before, during and after a nuclear attack. Read it with care as it could greatly increase your chances of survival.
