Ferries, Bridges, Cruises

Introduction 

This publication is designed to provide general information about international and interprovincial ferries, bridges, tunnels and cruises, also included are provincial and regional listings of ferries, bridges and cruises.

Local times are given, either standard or daylight saving, whichever is in effect.

It is advisable to make reservations in advance for boat cruises. Ferry services requiring advance bookings are indicated.

CN Coastal Services 

The Newfoundland services of the Canadian National Railways operate steamship services of various durations from St. John’s, calling at ports on the Newfoundland and Labrador coasts. They also operate a south coast service from Port-aux-Basques to Terrenceville and from Argentia to Milltown, and during the summer months from Port-aux-Basques to Ramea and from Terrenceville to Harbour Breton. Detailed information on these services may be obtained from the Passenger Sales Manager, Canadian National Railways, St. John’s, Newfoundland.
