Upper Canada Village

Upper Canada Village is a gentle reminder of days gone by – you just can’t miss it on your way from Toronto to fabulous Expo 67 at Montreal, Québec, Canada.

Any minute now, the stagecoach will thunder by. And the kids will desert the blacksmith for the man who drives the stage.

Just like kids did over 100 years ago. Or they might vote for the General Store. The old kind, with sawdust on the floor. And big glass jars full of penny candy and momentous decisions. This is Canada remembered.

Kind of sentimental, but lots of fun. So, as long as you’re on the highway between our two biggest cities… why not steal a day… just to feel like a kid again.
